1.      Explain the meaning of SEO.
            The process of increasing the amount of visitors to a Web site by ranking high in the search results of a search engine. The higher a Web site ranks in the results of a search, the greater the chance that that site will be visited by a user. It is common practice for Internet users to not click through pages and pages of search results, so where a site ranks in a search is essential for directing more traffic toward the site.

2.      What is Google dance?The Search Engine Google often updates or process updates to its ranking Algorithm and the Google dance defines the process of the update. Google utilizes 9 data centers that will provide different results until the Google dance update completes its recalculations. When the dance completes the Search Engine Results will show new listings and changes in ranking positioning.

3.      What is IBL (inbound link)?
      A link from a site outside of your site.

4.      What is OBL (outbound link)?
      A link from a page of your site to another site.

5.      What is keyword density?
      Keyword density calculates the percentage of keyword words and phrases compared to the total of words in your web page body.

6.      What is Robot.txt?A file written and stored in the root directory of a website that restricts the Search Engine spiders from indexing certain pages of the website. This file is used to disallow certain spiders from seeing files that you not want them to see. You can also prevent a certain spider to look at any of the web pages through this file.

7.      Google Bombing??
     A Google bomb or Google wash is an attempt to influence the ranking of a given site in results returned by the Google search engine. Due to the way that Google's Page Rank algorithm works, a website will be ranked higher if the sites that link to that page all use consistent anchor text. Googlebomb is used both as a verb and a noun.

8.      What do you mean by Keyword Proximity? 
      Describes how close keywords are to one another. This is one of many measurements search engines use to gauge a web site's relevance
9.      What is blog roll?
      A blogroll is a collection of links to other weblogs. When present, blogrolls are often found on the front page sidebar of most weblogs.

10.  What is GEO or GEO-Targeted Optimization??
     Geo-targeted searching is the act of refining your search by including the name of a location within the search term.

11.  What is Deep Linking???
      Deep links means "a hyperlink that points to a specific page or image on another website, instead of that website's main or home page. Such links are called deep links.

12.  What is SHTML?? shtml is a web file suffix - for example, index.shtml. .shtml files are files which can include server generated content on the page. For example, a .shtml file could contain a counter or other server generated content.
.shtml files are setup on a web server as server side include files. Other files can                  be setup as server side includes, but .shtml files are common on linux hosts.

13.  What is SGML
Standard Generalized Markup Language? SGML is both a language and an ISO standard for describing information embedded within a document. Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is based on the SGML standard.

14.  Application Program Interface - a series of conventions or routines used to access software functions. Most major search products have an API program.

15.  Active Server Pages - a dynamic Microsoft programming language.
